The mobile scan flow

Scanning isn't a side feature bolted onto Loqorina. It's the mechanism that keeps the 3D twin matching what's actually on your floor, and everything else in the product is built around making it fast.

Fast to reach, fast to use

The scanner is reachable within two taps from anywhere in the app, using your phone's camera. Point it at a location's or an asset's QR code, and Loqorina records that the asset is there now.

Safe to repeat

Every scan is submitted as an event with a client-generated ID, and submitting the same event twice, say your connection blipped and your phone retried, is a no-op the second time, not a duplicate. That's what makes it safe for the app to retry aggressively without asking you to double-check anything.

Why this is the source of truth

A scan doesn't overwrite a location field. It records an event: who, what, where, when. An asset's current location is worked out from its most recent event, not stored as a fact you edit directly. See "How location updates actually happen" in the Assets section for the full picture.
