How location updates work
Distinguish movement from other records.
Choose destination and asset, then confirm a scan or manual move. Current location is calculated from recorded movement events; an offline queued operation is not yet applied on the server.
Initial placement, explicitly approved import location corrections and approved count corrections also create movement events. An older event can enter history without undoing a newer location. Contents imports and delivery photos do not change location. The displayed location is not proof of physical reality; verify it on site.
