QR codes and scanning
QR codes and identity
Every node in the spatial hierarchy, Zone, Rack, Level, and Slot, gets a stable ID and a QR code that encodes a short link to it. Scan one, and you land on that exact location: what's there, and its position in the wider floor plan.
No login needed to resolve one
Resolving a QR code is a public, read-only action. Nobody needs an account or a session to scan a code and see what's at that location. The QR code encodes a short link, not a raw data dump, so scanning one only ever resolves to that single location, never a wider export of your layout.
What scanning shows you
Scanning a location's QR code shows what's currently there and where that location sits within its zone, with the surrounding floor plan for context. It's the fastest way to answer "what's in this spot" while standing in front of it.
